average waste removal volumes and DEFRA volume-to-mass conversion
factors.
Significant progress has been made in reducing waste to landfill
and recycling. This is due to the success of local waste and
recycling programmes implemented by the campus Green Teams
in addition to the assistance from group waste contractors
who have co-ordinated programmes and provided supporting data.
