Participation in External Initiatives
Prudential participates in a number of external
initiatives concerned with strategic development and guidance
on environmental management within financial services. These
include:
• United
Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP) - Prudential is
a signatory to the Financial Institutions' Statement on the
Environment and Sustainable Development and a member of the
Climate Change work group
• FORGE
Group - Prudential participates in this joint Government
and industry initiative to provide guidance on environmental
management and reporting specifically for the financial services
sector
• University
of Cambridge Programme for Industry Prudential participates
in the alumni Business and the Environment training programme
for senior executives
• Forum
for the Future - Prudential is a member of the Forum Business
Network.

Business in the Environment - Prudential participates
in the Practitioners Forum and supports the completion of
the Annual Index of Corporate Environmental Engagement survey
