EVE TRANCOM
RE-LOCATES FOR GROWTH

To facilitate the growth planned for the company over the next few years, Eve Transcom re-located to brand new offices at Annesley, north of Nottingham, in July.

Due to the expansion in the business over the preceding three years there had been a need to find larger office space. The old Sherwood House offices were 'bursting at the seams' due to an eighteen month staff recruitment programme to meet the growing demand from both Eve Telecom and Eve Transmission customers. Newstead Court on the Sherwood Park estate at Annesley, just five miles from Transcom's previous offices, provided an excellent solution. Newstead Court gives Eve three times more office space than what was available at the old premises at Sutton-in-Ashfield and this will more than satisfy current needs and facilitate future growth.
There was also a need to substantially expand the stores facilities and this was achieved by acquiring newly built premises, just a couple of minutes away from the new offices. The new stores are dedicated to the Eve Telecom business and have increased the available storage space to 35,000 square feet from the previous 12,000 square feet.
These new stores are allowing state of the art feeder cable handling machinery and racking to be utilised for the first time. This provides greater efficiencies in store management and enables the increased number of contracts awarded to Eve Telecom for materials procurement, logistics, installation and maintenance to be serviced.
Totty Building Services, sister company within the Peterhouse Group, carried out the interior fit-out for the new offices, which have the latest in environmentally friendly heat and air conditioning systems. There is also a full paper recycling system to allow for greater efficiency in running the offices and to lower operating costs.
