EVE TELECOM
A FRUITFUL PARTNERSHIP

In April this year, Eve Telecom was awarded a new PCN (Personal Communications Network) antenna system installation contract by Orange Plc, which substantially increased the volume of work that Orange entrusted to Eve. As a result, Eve Telecom has increased its resource dedicated to the Orange mobile phone cell site roll-out by more than 40% to meet the increased demand under this new contract.

Eve Telecom has worked successfully for Orange over many years, installing antenna and microwave systems. This contract, however, marks a step-change in the nature of the relationship with Orange in a number of ways.
As part of the contract agreement the company will move up from the status of a contractor to a turnkey arrangement with Orange for PCN installations. The implications of this new arrangement are a much closer "hand-in-hand" working relationship with Orange than before, with Eve Telecom managing the rollout of new sites and upgrades directly. This includes the company operating on a nation-wide basis and taking over responsibility for the management of antenna installations for its own 2G, 3G (Second and Third Generation technology) and TPS (Third Party Sites) projects on behalf of Orange.
The award of the new turnkey contract by Orange is an endorsement of Eve Telecom's strategy of recent years to develop direct relationships with mobile communications companies. This has enabled the company to provide a consistent quality of service at a competitive price, using a highly skilled directly employed workforce to Orange. It has also enabled Eve Telecom to respond to the changing and growing requirements of Orange in a flexible manner.
