EVE TRAKWAY
EXPANDS IN EUROPE

Eve Trakway's German subsidiary, Eve Trakway GmbH has acquired one of Europe's leading event service companies, eps Event Groupe, to further strengthen its product offering and market position in Europe. The combined companies will be known as eve eps and will enable the provision of a wide range of infrastructure services to European event customers.

Founded in the 1970s, eps, then known as Entertainment Production Services, focused its main interest in concert promotion, whilst also offering event related services such as the rental of turf protection systems, chairs, stages and grandstands.
In 1996, eps completely changed its organisational structure to become a pure service company. eps Event GmbH was then formed and now has offices in Munich, Cologne and Berlin. The move was well received within the events industry and the company has a strong customer base throughout Europe, which has given eve eps a vast presence in the marketplace. Existing eps Directors, Okan Tombulca and Martin Steffen will be on the Board of eve eps.
Throughout Europe eps provides a variety of floor and turf protection systems, event seating, furniture, stage barriers, temporary fencing and grandstands and also provides a specialist event planning service. It has also installed its products at many stadiums across Europe including the Olympic Stadiums in Munich, Barcelona and Stockholm and the Stade de France in Paris.

QUEENS GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS

Eve Trakway played an important part in this year's Golden Jubilee celebrations by providing a range of products for the events. Held at Buckingham Palace over the Jubilee Weekend, The Queen invited the country to two events: Prom at the Palace on 1st June and Party at the Palace on 3rd June.

The event organisers called in Eve Trakway to provide 1305 K- panels, which were installed in the North and South Gardens at the Palace and inside Canada Gate at Green Park. Eve was chosen for the job because the Royal Parks insisted that the grass be protected as much as possible and as a result over 2400 square metres of Terraplas was installed. Eve Trakway felt privileged to be called upon for this once in a lifetime event and we wonder whether we'll be seeing the 'by Royal Appointment' insignia on Eve Trakway's livery soon!
