RAIL

JacksonEve has overcome stiff competition from other leading rail contractors to win the Framework Agreement for route works renewals covering the London North East Zone. Work has already started on the project, which is estimated at £3 million over the first year.
Also, due to the success of two three-year contracts for the National Express Group companies, c2c and WAGN, JacksonEve has had both contracts extended. It has also gained a further order from the Group, to provide support for Silver Link's three depots at Blithely, Camden and Watford. These contracts will all include the periodical inspection of all permanent ways within the depot, together with both planned and reactive maintenance.

CABLE INSTALLATION

The cable installation arm of JacksonEve was recently awarded a contract in the Harland & Wolff shipyard, Belfast. This project consisted of installing the cables on two military roll-on, roll-off ferries and on completion, these vessels will be used to transport tanks, wagons and heavy equipment worldwide. Work has just been completed on the first vessel, where over 130,000 metres of power, instrument and control cables to all areas within the cargo deck, accommodation deck and engine rooms were installed and work on the second ferry has now started.

MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL

JacksonEve has helped shape the vision of the Seaham Port Company to regenerate Seaham Harbour into a modern logistics facility. JacksonEve's M&E team was involved at a very early stage of the planning and developed detailed solutions for the provision of essential services; including internal and external lighting, power supplies, heating, cooling and alarm systems to warn of fire or security breaches. Working closely alongside the construction site team, the operatives and staff based at JacksonEve's Middlesbrough office helped the project grow from a collection of drawings into a modern logistics depot with offices, cranes, warehouses, lifts and security buildings.
