In August this year, Peterhouse acquired AMT International Limited for around £1.7million. Bedford-based AMT International is one of the UK's leading providers of professional and management training courses in health & safety, environmental management, fire safety, personal effectiveness, management development and trainer training.
The business will merge with ESS Shorco and operate through a partnering arrangement, to strengthen both the organisations' ability to provide their customers with a greatly enhanced range of high quality training programmes. AMTI has an annual turnover of £2.3 million and is the only training provider accredited to offer the prestigious City & Guilds 7331 Certificate in Training Techniques.
At the same time as AMTI was acquired, Peterhouse purchased Hemingford Park Limited, a provider of interior fit-out and refurbishment services to the UK retail and leisure sectors. Based in Cambridgeshire, the business will operate under the construction and development division, Propencity Plc.
