Roger Bruce

Eve Trakway

Roger joined Eve Trakway in May 2002, after six years with ATS Tyre Specialists, during which time he moved from Leeds to Birmingham to help with the development of a new call centre and a shared service centre. His previous firms include Thomas Locker Plc, SR Gent, and Conoco (UK) Ltd. Aged 38, married to Sally and with two boys James, and Thomas, Roger has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Bradford, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Accountants. His hobbies include music, cycling, and supporting Leeds United.

Engineering

Steve joins Jackson Civil Engineering from Certas, where he was head of group strategic development. He originally joined Eve Transcom in 2000 as Project Director on the naval communications PFI project. Prior to this he was a Contracts Director for a regional building company and has also worked for the Major Projects and Special Projects division of Balfour Beatty, as well as their Nuclear Reprocessing division, Wastechem. Steve has a Batchelor of Science degree and a Masters degree in Business Administration and his hobbies include golf, skiing and motor sport. He is married with a daughter.

Totty Construction

As a result of Phil Brierley's appointment as Chairman of Totty Construction, Mike was promoted from Operations Director to Managing Director in April this year. He is 37, married to Lisa and has one daughter Abbey. He has been with Totty for over 17 years, the last 8 years as Director, playing a pivotal role in the continuing success and growth of the company. In his new role Mike will concentrate on the achievement of further growth allied to longer-term stability and increased market presence. Mike is a member of the CIOB and outside of work his hobbies include, golf, keep-fit and all sports.

Totty Developments

Steve joined Totty as a Business Unit Manager in June 2001 and was appointed to the Board as Contracts Director in April 2002. Steve has over 30 years' construction experience starting in the industry as a junior surveyor/estimator. Since 1983 he has held a number of Directors posts, which have provided him with extensive contractual, negotiation, client relationship and partnership experience. He is also a member of the CIOB and IOD. He is married to Carol and his interests include fine art and football - closely following the fortunes of Manchester United FC.

Graham Cragg

Totty Developments

Graham, aged 49 joined Totty Developments in January 1999 as Development Director and was promoted to Managing Director in April this year. He is a Chartered Surveyor with over 25 years' experience of the commercial property market, having worked previously at a senior level within property development subsidiaries of other major construction based groups. Graham is married to Judy with three "adult" children, Sarah, Abigail and James. Prior to joining Totty, Graham had spent most of his life in Cheshire before uprooting the family and moving across the Pennines to live in the Harrogate area. They are hoping to be accepted as "locals" by their village community before Graham retires!

Richard has worked in the safety industry for twelve years and was promoted to Business Development Director for ESS Shorco in April this year. He is married to Julie and has two boys, Kieran aged 7 and Cameron aged 3. Richard is an active first team rugby player for Alcester Rugby Football Club, Warwickshire League 1. He is also a keen racketball player and a member of the Institute of Sales and Marketing Management.

Sharon Clark

Ess Shorco

Sharon joined ESS in 1990 as an assistant to the Sales Representatives and progressed through the company to become Training Manager in August 2000. Sharon, who is 29, has worked in the safety training industry since leaving school and was appointed Training Director in April 2002 where she now has the responsibility of consolidating and developing the training division of ESS Shorco. Sharon plays netball in three different Northamptonshire leagues and is captain of one team. She has a Certificate in Management Studies (CIM).

Wayne Taylor
Marketing Director
Ess Shorco

Wayne, 33, was appointed Marketing Director for ESS Shorco in April 2002. He joined ESS in December 1997 and introduced the telemarketing operation to ESS Shorco, initially into the training division where the turnover trebled in three years. Subsequently it was developed into the other operations of the business. His hobbies include both acting as Treasurer and playing for his local football club. Wayne is married to Liz and has two children, Olivia 2 and Charles 8 months. He is currently reading for an MBA at Loughborough University.
