Operating structure
Following its acquisition by Amlin on 25 November 2008, AFU operates as a division within Syndicate 2001 but is also the coverholder of a set of insurance binders underwritten by underwriters within Amlin London, Amlin UK and other Lloyd’s Syndicates. AFU is organised into teams of underwriters focused on the products offered through these binders and is governed by its own executive team as shown below.
