Railway Operator's Licence

Demonstrating its commitment to sustainable development, Eurotunnel signs an agreement for the proposed construction of a wind farm on its Calais/ Coquelles terminal.

Eurotunnel Solutions Eurotunnel separates infrastructure management from operations. Eurotunnel Solutions, a new customer-focused organisation, is created to deliver tailor-made logistics solutions, whether by truck or rail.

Launch of PMSi Eurotunnel creates a new subsidiary, Port Maritime Security International, to market its expertise in terminal security. The new company is quick to attract business from port and terminal operators worldwide.
Eurotunnel joins RailNetEurope Eurotunnel joins RailNetEurope bringing the Channel Tunnel infrastructure into a sales and marketing association which aims to simplify and stimulate European cross-border rail traffic.

PETS success
Eurotunnel carried its 50,000th pet under the PETS Travel Scheme, cementing its position as market leader.

16th Truck Shuttle enters service
Eurotunnel completes its rolling stock development programme on budget and on time with the delivery of the 16th truck shuttle.

Marques Avenue opens
A new 60 store retail outlet selling luxury and designer goods opens on Eurotunnel land in Calais/Coquelles. The new 10,000m2 development is designed to appeal to cross-Channel shoppers from the UK and creates 220 new jobs.
Paris commercial court
3 December 2003: at the request of a group of shareholders, Paris commercial court appoints Maître Henri Chriqui as mandataire to convene a general meeting of Eurotunnel SA shareholders with an agenda to dismiss the Board and to nominate a new Board. This General meeting will be held on the same day as Eurotunnel's Annual General Meetings.
