Nycomed builds a new chemical plant for contrast media substances at Lindesnes, Norway. The plant is continually being expanded to achieve manufacturing efficiencies and scale benefits. The addition pictured here, representing an investment of £24 million, opens in September 2001. In 2002, a new investment of £46.5 million is approved.
